Balancing purpose, people and profit

Fair payment practices and a low-margin model form the foundations of our business operations. The lion’s share of what we earn goes directly to our highly skilled team. Not simply because it’s the right thing to do, but also because it allows us to attract – and more importantly retain – the crème de la crème of linguistic talent.

We also run a profit share scheme, with 50% of our company’s pure annual profit shared out amongst our in-house team. In other words, everyone reaps the just rewards of their hard work. Success is best when it’s shared.

Looking after our people

True to our people-first mindset, we have adopted a range of policies and measures to safeguard everyone’s welfare. Since we all work remotely, we take great care to check-in on people. In addition to our in-depth annual wellbeing survey, we use the Happiness Index to provide everyone with a safe space to regularly let us know how they’re doing. We speak openly about mental health and encourage our team members to take ‘duvet days’ when needed so they can rest and recharge. We also discourage overtime in favour of a healthy work-life balance.

An annual meet-up budget, meanwhile, forges strong bonds and creates a genuine sense of togetherness. Such initiatives make for a happier, close-knit and well-looked-after team that delivers top-quality results time and again.

Besides our entry-level positions and award-winning graduate scheme, we offer internships to equip budding linguists with the skills they need to kick-start their career.
